Verdict at a Glance

The right tool if you sell FL commercial lines and want fresh-this-week leads. The wrong tool for everything else.

$199/mo
14 days, no card
100 verified
FL only
One subscriber / area

TL;DR: MarketPulse delivers 100 new FL LLC filings every Monday — businesses formed in the last 7 days, in your county, sorted by industry and estimated commercial-lines premium, with mobile numbers double-verified (skip-trace + carrier check). Includes cold-call scripts per industry. Each lead is exclusive — assigned to one subscriber per area, not shared. The whole pitch in one line: the first agent to call a new business wins the account. If you call within 48 hours of delivery, the prospect almost certainly doesn't have commercial coverage yet.

Why I Built This

The gap MarketPulse closes

I'm not an insurance agent. I'm the operator behind Filld (dental scheduling SaaS) and MarketPulse. After six months talking to FL commercial-lines agents about how they found new business, the same pattern emerged: every lead source was stale, shared, expensive, or all three.

Generic business lists at $300–$800 per dump. Apollo and ZoomInfo at $99–$299/mo, built for SaaS sales, no "filed this week" filter. Hiring a researcher at $4K–6K/mo. None of them gave fresh-this-week, FL-only, commercial-relevant, mobile-verified leads at a price an independent agent could afford.

MarketPulse exists to close that gap. 100 verified leads weekly, $199/mo flat, exclusive to you in your area.

What Actually Shows Up in Your Inbox Every Monday

The pitch is plain: 100 leads. Here's exactly what each lead record contains:

Delivery: every Monday morning by 9am ET, sortable in your subscriber dashboard or exportable as CSV. You can also pipe leads to your CRM via Zapier.

The Math — When MarketPulse Pays Back

Honest math:

To break even on the subscription, you need to bind 2–7 policies a year from MarketPulse leads. Most active subscribers report binding that many within the first 60 days.

The actual conversion rate isn't magical — it's 5–10% for agents who call leads within 48 hours of delivery, 1–2% for agents who let leads sit a week. Speed is the entire game. The data is fresh; you're racing the calendar, not other agents (because leads are exclusive).

The real reason MarketPulse works: a brand-new LLC almost certainly hasn't bought commercial coverage yet. They're sorting bank accounts, hiring their first employee, and registering for an EIN. Insurance is a Week 2 problem — and if you're the agent who calls in Week 1, you're not competing with anyone else on the same lead.

Who This Is For

Be honest with yourself before subscribing. MarketPulse is built for one specific operator profile:

Who This Is NOT For

Honest Tradeoffs

What's good

  • Fresh-this-week data — no other tool does this for FL
  • Mobile numbers verified twice — skip-trace + carrier check
  • Exclusive leads — not shared with other subscribers in your area
  • Industry filtering + premium estimates upfront
  • Cold-call scripts per industry included
  • 14-day free trial, no card required
  • $199/mo flat — no per-lead pricing, no annual lock-in
  • Built by an operator who talks to subscribers monthly

What hurts

  • FL-only. TX/GA on the roadmap but not committed
  • Commercial lines only — useless for personal-lines agents
  • Requires you to actually call leads (speed matters)
  • 100 leads/week is a fixed ceiling — no "more leads" upgrade
  • Not an automated dialer — you still pick up the phone
  • Mobile numbers aren't always the owner's personal cell — sometimes a business mobile that the owner answers, sometimes their accountant
  • I built it — different conflict of interest than affiliate tools (disclosed upfront)

Setup Reality

  1. 5 min: sign up for the 14-day trial at market-pulse.us. Pick your county and industries.
  2. Day 0 (Monday morning): your first 100 leads arrive in your inbox + dashboard.
  3. Day 1–3: start calling. Use the included scripts or write your own. Most subscribers bind their first policy within 14 days.
  4. Day 14: trial ends. If you've bound at least one policy, the math has already paid back. If not, cancel — no card was charged.

What You're Actually Paying For

Note: MarketPulse is my product. The recommendation is straightforward — if FL commercial lead gen is your problem, this is the cheapest path to solve it. If it's not your problem, the page also tells you who shouldn't subscribe.

FAQ

Why $199/mo instead of charging per lead?

Per-lead pricing creates the wrong incentive — I'd push lower-quality leads to inflate volume. Flat pricing means I'm incentivized to keep quality high so you renew. 100 verified leads at $199 works out to $1.99/lead, which is way under what any lead-list provider charges for stale data.

What counties does MarketPulse cover?

All 67 FL counties. You pick which ones at signup based on your service area. Most subscribers pick 1–3 counties. The product splits leads by county — Miami-Dade subscribers get Miami-Dade leads, Hillsborough subscribers get Hillsborough leads, no overlap.

Can I switch counties later?

Yes — change anytime from the subscriber dashboard. Takes effect the following Monday delivery.

What if a lead's mobile number is wrong?

Report it in the dashboard. Verified-but-disconnected numbers are credited back — you don't pay for bad data. Mobile verification accuracy runs about 92–95% in practice.

How does this compare to Apollo or ZoomInfo for insurance?

Different products for different jobs. Apollo/ZoomInfo are general B2B databases optimized for SaaS sales — massive coverage, no insurance-specific filtering, no "filed this week" angle. MarketPulse is narrow and deep: FL-only, commercial-only, weekly-fresh-only. If you need general B2B prospecting, Apollo. If you need FL commercial leads, MarketPulse.

Will MarketPulse expand beyond FL?

Maybe. TX and GA are next on the roadmap if MarketPulse continues to grow. No firm commitment yet — depends on subscriber growth here. Not in the plan for 2026.

I'm in personal lines — is there anything MarketPulse can do for me?

Honestly no. New LLCs don't buy auto/home/umbrella insurance. They buy commercial. If you write personal lines, spend the $199 on a CRM (GoHighLevel or Agent CRM) or a dialer (JustCall) instead — those pay back across both lines.

Can I trial twice if I sign up, cancel, and try again later?

No — one trial per email/payment instrument. After the first trial you're either a subscriber or not. Fair warning so you don't try to game it.

What's the cancellation policy after the trial?

Cancel anytime from the dashboard — no annual lock-in, no calls to support. You'll receive any remaining leads in your current billing cycle, then service ends.

Is this an affiliate program I can join?

Not currently. MarketPulse doesn't have an affiliate program because we're focused on direct subscribers. If that changes I'll announce it on the IAK newsletter.
